What is the Horizontal Scourer?
The DPG Horizontal Scourer is mainly used to clean wheat. It removes dirt from the surface of the kernel, clears away clods and damaged (metamorphic) wheat, reduces bacterial load, and gets rid of pests and empty kernels.
How it works
A rotor fitted with beaters turns inside a screen cylinder. The kernels are thrown against the screen and each other, scouring dirt off the surface; the loosened material passes through the screen and is aspirated away.
