What is the Pin Mill?
DPG Pin Mills are made in MS or SS construction and supplied with a screw feeder and variable-speed drive for a regulated feed. They are suited to medium-fine and coarse material, and the rotor and pin design are adapted for this purpose.
How it works
Two discs carrying intermeshing pins rotate at high speed (or one rotates against a fixed disc). Material fed to the centre is shattered by repeated impacts with the pins as it moves outward.
