What is the Plansifter Machine?
The DPG Plansifter is designed for sifting granular and floury products, and for sorting different products in wheat, rye, maize (corn) and buckwheat mills. It is also used as a control sifter in flour storage systems ahead of bagging and bulk load-out.
How it works
Stacks of sieve frames in several sections are moved in a gyratory motion. Each section receives one ground stock and separates it into fractions by particle size, sending flour, middlings and overtails to different outlets.
